The seams that connect the fabric panels are the same lap stitch used on the inseam or out-seam on most denim jeans: high quality, fray resistant, lapped in a way to shed water off the tipi, rather than working its way inside the tipi. Our tents are made of 100% washable cotton, including all straps and stake loops – no polyester! All our line is made of either sisal and/or hemp rope and, with the exception of the thread, the entire tipi is made of natural materials.
