The ridge is the same height from front to back with and to add extra width, there are two cords on each side to pull the tent out into a side wall configuration. It has dual entrances that provide cross ventilation during warm temperatures. One is the standard V shape with zipper and the other being a snow tunnel with a draw string. It also has a 6 round vent sleeve located above the snow tunnel to prevent condensation in cold temperatures. Packed size and weight is 6.5″ round x 20″ long x 6.5 lbs and includes 12 tent stakes. It has been aired out and is in very nice shape for its age. This tent was the top of the line for backpacking in it’s day and still shows the quality provided by North Face.
