For sale is a d. Iscontinued Zpacks Hexamid Twin two person tent. This falls in the category of stupid light at 17oz. For a fully enclosed tent with bug netting and bathtub floor. It can get down to 13oz if you remove the cuben bathtub floor. Comes with a set of hexamid twin specific carbon fiber poles. It has been used lots but well taken care of. It has a few repairs, including some tenacious tape reinforcement in two spots on the netting. These repairs have held for almost the whole life of the tent and are not getting bigger or expanding. I recently reinforced some high wear areas of the tent with zpacks dyneema tape, including the guyline points and the crown of the tent where the pole goes. Neither places were ripped but looking a bit saggy. Plenty of life left in the tent, we just wanted to move to something with two doors. ZPack Splash Bivy Bag Cuben Fiber DCF Size Large Green 7.2 ounces

This ZPack Splash Bivy Bag has a Cuben Fiber/ DCF bathtub bottom. The top is Green lightweight Ripstop nylon not waterproof, DWR with treatment. 12 inch WP breathable foot and head sections protecting the bivy from weather on the ends for use with a tarp. Flat this is 40 by 88 inches, the Splash Bivy is not being made by ZPack at the moment. This has seen only about three weeks of use, primarily cowboy camping in the desert to keep creepy. Bugs out of my sleeping bag. Actually I quilt so I’m wide open to dirt and crawling insect so I really like a bivy for containing the quilt. I’m not camping solo much at the moment so it is not getting good use. This bivy bag is in very good condition but could be 4-5 year old. Not sure when they stop production. Cuben Fiber repair tape on one unfinished seam at the head that started to fray as seen in photo. No issue here and ZPack didn’t want to fix it, really didn’t need it. Small mosquito mesh on head end is 17″ wide by 11″ in length, with a loop for top line to raise bag off face. I guess it works but I never really needed it. Glow in the dark zipper pull by MSR. There is a loop at both ends of the zipper for lifting the head and/or foot for better air flow. (The photos don’t show the loop near the foot). The top zipper entry is easy to get in and out of, and easy to open up for venting. The bivy will add some warmth to your sleep system- about as much as sleeping with just a sheet at home. On hot summer nights you may not need a sleeping bag. Sewn in face screen keeps insects out- or leave the face zipper open when insects aren’t present. A loop over your face allows you to raise the screen off your upper body. Attach the included elastic cord to your tarp or to a tree branch overhead. There are 6 loops at the four corners and sides to secure the bivy to your tarp to keep it in place.
