Golite Shangri-la 2 Tarptent
Ultralight 3+ season, tarp tent. This is a floorless shelter, a shaped tarp w/ a double zippered door, intended to provide more weather/wind resistance than a regular flat tarp, without adding too much weight.
This shelter is minimally used, & is in near-new condition. Pitched a total of four (4) nights in the backcountry, on two separate two night trips at two different locations. This two-person shelter comes in at an amazingly low 1lb 9 ounces. Sil-nylon material w/ full seam taping make it fully waterproof.
Uses two trekking poles for structure. Alternately, you can string up a ridgeline & attach to this, obviating the need for the poles & freeing up some floor space. This is a popular two-person shelter, well-reviewed on many backpacking & ultralight hiking websites/forums. I did spray paint the white stakes a blaze orange for reasons of visibility, as well as tied some night-ize reflective cord to the stakes, for reasons of visibility & for ease of pulling out.

This is the original version of the shangri-la 3. In excellent condition with no holes, rips or tears. Used fewer than 7 nights. Does not include center telescopic pole or stuff sac! This is a like new shangri-la 1 tent! This is a great and light one person tent for backpacking! It only weighs 2 lbs. This tent requires trekking poles for set-up. Trekking poles are not included. All other items for set-up are included.

The first photo shows the two put together on my last trip in fall, 2010. Also included are the 2 stuff sacks, 6 silver color stakes (came with tent), 8 red stakes (bought extra), and tie lines. All ready for the next trip.
Note: the trekking poles inside the tent is not included. Tent material: nylon ripstop, mesh; [coating] silicone; [coating] polyurethane. Dimensions: 57 x 113 in. Weight: 1 lb 8 oz. Use the shangri-la nest alone on clear but buggy nights, or with the shangri-la series shelters for total weather protection.

This is a golite shangri-la 1 tarp tent shelter with the optional bug nest included. It was used one night in the back yard.
Use the shelter alone to dig in and block the wind at your snow camp. The shelter has front and rear air vents with screens to keep out any bugs. The shelter can be pitched high or low as needed for air flow. The shelter in it’s bag weighs 1 lb. The nest in it’s bag weighs 1 lb. I set my extra large 25″x83″ neoair pad in for scale. Plenty of room for a tall camper and a few essentials. Air pad and trekking poles not included.
