A classic De Waard Albatros Dutch pyramid tent from the 1990s. Some light marks on the canvas but no damage or repairs. The typical Albatros layout with the square awning flanked by a pair of wings, which can be placed either side of the entrance as shown or both together on one side. The tent is 4 metres wide by 4.2 deep. 2.5m high at the mast and 1.8 at the front. The following items are included. Front 1.5 metre zip-on awning. Two zip on wings. De waard Tureluur (Redshank) Dutch Canvas Pyramid Tent. An experienced smaller De Waard at 3metres deep by 2.5 wide. In fact this is their smallest twin masted model. 2 metres high at the masts and 1.7 at the entrance. The canvas is remarkably clean on this tent. The only repairs are a 1 patch on the groundsheet and a glued canvas patch over a pole tip hole. Please watch the video and let us know if it does not work, in which case we can send you a link. The only other slight bit of damage not mentioned in the video is a small tear at the top of the left hand valance. This is where the wing zip is sewn on. It does not affect the tent in use. A matching pair of side wings is included. A built in 1metre canopy is adequate for evening G&Ts or morning cups of tea! This tent is an ideal size for a small family or a retired couple, perhaps with a dog. The whole thing weighs only 28kg which when broken down between the tent, poles and pegs is quite manageable. All lines and pegs included, along with laminated English instructions. As mentioned in the video, some of the lines around the side could do with replacing. We have included some guy rope for this. An enlarged herring gull twin-mast four berth Dutch tent, as usual made in the famous Ten Cate tent cloth. The condition of this canvas needs to be seen to be believed. Tent Size – 4 metres wide by 4.5 metres deep. 2.5 metres high at the masts and 1.9 metres high at the entrance. There is no damage to this tent and no repairs have been carried out. The canvas is firm and of good colour with barely a mark on it. All the zips and ventilation mesh are in good order. As explained in the video the tent does not feature front zips, so the awning and wings are attached to the tops of the poles as normal but do not zip onto the tent fabric. The following items are included. De Waard square awning. All pegs and guy ropes. This tent provides amazing open space without any curtains in place. It is easy to imagine it with a vast king sized bed and lots of rugs draped around inside! A De Waard Zilvermeeuw twin-mast four berth Dutch tent, as usual made in the famous Ten Cate tent cloth. Being the Type 2 this has a canopy as part of the tent structure with two additional guy ropes to hold it taught. The Type 2 also has the sides made in rather attractive segments of canvas, in a similar manner to the Lepelaar and the later Albatrosses. The inner tent is a lovely feature. It looks very cosy and can really extend the camping season. It is important to appreciate that these are ordered new at the same time as the main tent. Special fittings are sewn in during manufacture. For this reason we do not like to separate them, even though some people have succeeded in installing their own makeshift fixings. Tent Size – 3 metres wide by 3.8 metres deep including sleeping area 2.3 metres deep. 2.2 metres high at the masts and 1.8 metres at the entrance. Packed 90 x 30cm sausage 22kg. Poles and pegs approx. There is no damage to this tent and no repairs have been carried out. The canvas is firm and of good colour with only a few light marks of sap or bird droppings. A De Waard Albatros with two side wings and the square awning. Very clean indeed with only a few odd spots. A little mud that needs a good rain storm! One little sewn on patch on the front canopy. If you are unable to watch the video please message me for a link. Otherwise no damage except for a short piece of stitching that has pulled away at the top of the central zip. I erected the tent on a friends farm and had no tools with me, otherwise I would have sewn it shut. If it was my tent I would probably leave it. All zips and lines good. Ventilation mesh all intact. Size – 4 metres wide by 4.2 metres deep including sleeping areas 2.2 metres deep (rounded back). 2.5 metres high at the mast and 1.8 metres at the entrance. A De Waard Lepelaar Classic Dutch Canvas Storm Tent in a lovely burgundy colour scheme. This tent is fully loaded with the much sought-after varioluifel awning and two matching side wings. Basically very clean canvas although on the left side there is a lighter patch due to recent cleaning. Hopefully this will even up when the tent has been through a few cycles of sun and rain. Otherwise no marks on this tent. Absolutely no damage or repairs. The patch that has been cleaned looks worse in the photo than it does in real life! These modern cameras seem to accentuate certain colours. All the lines and aluminium rings are in good condition and the groundsheet is very clean and not scratched. The inner curtains are a canvas material on these later models. Very good quality and quite thick. Size – 3.4 metres wide by 4.5 metres deep including sleeping areas 2.5 metres deep (rounded back). 2.5 metres high at the mast and 1.95 at the entrance so as high as an Albatros at the mast and two inches higher at the entrance. There are the usual ventilation panels at the rear of the tent, with zipped covers. Windows in the front doors with mosquito netting above. This tent also benefits from the optional full-length mosquito door on the left-hand side. This allows for extra cooling and ventilation on hot nights without allowing flies or mosquitoes into the tent. The following items are included. De Waard varioluifel awning. We cannot find any marks at all on this tent and there are no signs of fading. All the lines are in excellent condition too. The sewn in groundsheet is perfect. Size – 4.2 metres wide by 4.4 metres deep. 2.5 metres high at the mast and 1.9 at the entrance. The tent benefits from having the optional full-length mosquito door. This can be secured on hot nights in place of the normal left side canvas door, providing improved ventilation. There are also 4 ventilation panels at the rear of the tent, with zipped covers. I collected this yesterday from a genuine couple just north of Amsterdam. A one owner De Waard Zilvermeeuw (Herring Gull) from 1995. All very good with the only repair being a pole tip hole which has been patched in the front canopy area, not the living area itself and hard to spot in use. Dimensions 3 metres wide by 3.8 deep plus a front canopy 1 metre deep. 2.2 metres high at the mast and 1.8 metres high at the entrance. Having twin masts this tent provides good headroom over a large area. Note that this tent has the extended De Waard canopy with side zips that connect to the wings. This can be zipped down as shown and in this position one is provided with a covered awning area 2.25 metres deep. This is also reassuring as it can be zipped down for security when the tent is left unattended. The sewn in groundsheet ensures that nights are spent free from insects and rising damp. A clean tent for its age with only normal usage marks and a bit of bird poo. It could do with a good soaking. The canvas is solid and smells fresh. The colour is consistent. The following are included. 2 side wings with zips. An extended De Waard awning. A Full set of matching pegs and lines. A genuine De Waard rubberised tent carpet as shown.
