The Stargazer is one of Bill Moss’s best-loved classic tent designs. Two sleeved poles, a big rectangular floor, and lots of headroom with a beautiful window to the night sky (hence the name). It’s described as a 2-3 person three-season. Reviews are easily found via Google. It’s basically a bigger version of the Starlet, or a more elegant version of the Stardome III. Dimensions are 4.5′ tall, 7’1″ long plus another 2′ with the fly vestibule, 5’8″ wide. Weight is 8lbs 4oz. This one was made in Seattle Washington. The tent is 100% complete, fully functional, and in excellent shape except for three minor issues. Tiny 1/2 cm hole near floor on side of tent. A recent 1/2 slit in the floor. Typical faint “old tent” smell and the rainfly sticks to itself but is fully intact and functional. Beyond that, it just shows normal wear from 30 years of use. They seriously do not make them like this any more!
