Large O-shaped door and three windows have mesh for ventilation plus an inside zip-up cover for privacy and weather protection. Eyebrow awning over door keeps the rain from dripping down into tent. Interior hang loops and eight built-in pockets help keep things organized and off the floor. Features durable nylon taffeta walls, extra heavy-duty coated 300-denier polyester oxford floor and polyester taffeta rainfly. THE NORTH FACE Mountain-24 High Performance 4 Season 2 Person 1990′s Mountaineering Geodesic Low-Profile Backpacking Tent. Uncleaned as found with no smells, sticky material, rips, holes or tears in near mint condition. No stakes or carry bag were found or included. Collectible tent which was stored loose in a large canvas bag over the years keeping it preserved. Still feels, looks and smells like new. The seams have been sealed years ago by someone but never used. A few of the taped seams will need to be redone if desired. A couple small ones inside the tent taped for the side straps. Easton 7075 T9 aluminum poles are near mint along with the expedition shock cording. Zippers and buckles all work great. The bottom of the tent still looks like new. Very rare to find the Mountain-24 in this condition with the foam baffles still in new-like condition. Weighs 8 lbs and the the tent measures 8′ x 5′ x 3′ H. With the rainfly vestibule being used it extends the tent to about 10′. This tent has a low wind and snow shedding shape that shrugs off the worst weather. In fact it has been pitched on Mt. Everest, K2, the North Pole, the South Pole and of course in some backyards. With a low profile, two-door aerodynamic shape, twelve exterior guy points and an interior guying system, the Mountain-24 is made to withstand the violence of storms encountered at high altitude. Easily accommodating two climbers and their gear, the Mountain-24 is an expedition-proven portable shelter. The Mountain-24 is a superior expedition tent capable of withstanding extremely high winds and heavy snow loading during multi-day climbs and summit attempts. Every feature of the Mountain-24 is designed to facilitate two-person alpine assaults undertaken in extreme conditions. The rectangular shape of the floor makes it possible to pitch the tent on narrow snow or rock ledges, and the circular doors at each end of the tent permit access to the interior even if one side is obstructed. Like all the double-wall expedition tents, the Mountain-24 has a full coverage flysheet that extends completely to the ground to shield the underlying tent from rain, snow and wind. Packed with such additional features as lap-felled stitching throughout, factory-taped flysheet seams, and a Supercoated Floor, the Mountain-24 has achieved legendary status among mountaineers and polar explorers.
