This listing is for a super rare and hard to come by Vintage Camplete Vagabond canvas tent. It comes with the original box and instructions. These tents are virtually impossible to come by, especially in the UK. Overall the tent is in fabulous Vintage condition, it has some surface marks that may come off, but has been stored dry so there are no mildew spots anywhere. There is a ground sheet which is part of the tent but it is canvas so would need plastic laying down underneath on wet ground to avoid damage. The flaps inside unzip to reveal lovely long netted windows which stretch almost the depth of the tent. Please note the end zip on the right hand side is a bit jammed and needs a bit of looking at but should work absolutely fine with a bit of TLC. The frame can be put on the inside or outside of the tent although there is more stability outside. Side bars are sprung. This is a huge tent and would sleep upto 6 single air beds, please check dimensions below. I originally bought as a possible space for events but never got around to using. 12.2 ft / 146 Width. 7.4 ft / 88 Height in the centre. 5 ft / 60 Height at the sides. 9.1 ft / 109 Depth. Up for your consideration is this. VINTAGE 1960′s Tan/Beige COLEMAN VAGABOND 8′ x 10′ CANVAS TENT. THIS TENT IS IN UNBELIEVABLE CONDITION FOR IT’S AGE. SUPER CLEAN – LOOKS LIKE IT WAS USED A COUPLE OF TIMES – THEN PACKED AWAY. NO DRY ROT, MOLD OR SMELLS. ALL ZIPPERS WORK PERFECTLY – THERE IS A REPAIR TO THE BOTTOM ZIPPER AT THE DOOR – SEE PHOTOS. RED TIES ARE ALL PRESENT AND LOOK NEW. ALL SCREENS ARE NICE – NO HOLES, TEARS OR SNAGS. POLES ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION – SOME STILL HAVE THE COLEMAN LOGO AND THE PLACEMENT LOCATION STAMP VISIBLE. AS NICE AS IT IS – IT’S NOT PERFECT. THERE IS A SMALL HOLE ON THE DOOR FLAP (ABOUT 1/4) SEE PHOTOS. THERE ARE ALSO 2 SMALL HOLES IN THE FLOOR – LOCATED AT THE FAR LEFT CORNER – ONE IS ABOUT 1/4″ AND THE OTHER ABOUT 1/8″. THERE IS SOME RED STAINING WHERE THE RED PIPING COLOR TRANSFERRED ON TO THE BEIGE CANVAS IN AREAS AROUND THE WINDOWS. THERE IS ALSO SOME FADING OF COLOR ON THE CANVAS IN AREAS AND SOME WHITE STAINS (MAY COME CLEAN – NO GUARANTEES) AT BACK OF THE TENT ON THE WINDOW SCREEN AND UNDERNEATH – SEE PHOTOS. THERE IS A SMALL REPAIR AT THE DOOR (BOTTOM FLAP) SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS. I ALSO NOTICED A COUPLE OF PIN HOLES IN THE CANVAS – NOTHING HORRIBLE. COMES WITH STAKES SOME ARE ORIGINAL COLEMAN AND MOST HAVE BENDS IN THEM. SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS ARE SEWN ON THE INSIDE DOOR FLAP. INSIDE HEIGHT IS 90″ AT THE PEAK, THE DOOR IS 44″ WIDE. THE LARGE WINDOWS MEASURE 74′ WIDE X 17 TALL. THE BACK WINDOW MEASURES 34.5″ WIDE X 16.5″ TALL. DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ORIGINAL POLE / STAKE OR TENT BAGS. THERE IS A TAG ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FLOOR THAT APPEARS TO HAVE A DATE OF 1966 – MAKING THIS TENT ABOUT 51 YEARS OLD. I SELL A LOT OF CANVAS TENTS AND HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS IS PROBABLY THE NICEST I’VE SEEN. YOU WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO EVER FIND THIS TENT AGAIN ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION.
