I bought this tent in early December 2016. It includes the optional footprint which is attached to the tent. (It can be detached) I slept in it for 3 nights on a car camping trip. I love this tent very much. I wanted a bombproof tent that I would feel safe in the worst storms with knarly winds and this was it. My problem is, I’ve bought a lower volume sea kayak than my previous one. I’ll be paddling at least 2 long expeditions in 21016. This tent is great. It was a return to REI but has no flaws or defects. No holes or patches. We can’t set it up for pictures because of bad weather but the tent is great.
