Rei Half Dome Plus Backpacking Tent Camping Star Gazing Lightweight Window !!!
This is made by rei and called the half dome plus. It is an all clip design and free standing which makes it very easy and quick to set up.
84 x 48 and 44â tall. Both the doors have â½ screen and there is also screen on the other sides as well as the top. Great ventilation and star viewing. There is also a clip in loft for storage and an original footprint.
While the footprint does show signs of dirt, it appears that the tent was possibly never used or maybe once. It is very clean and in great condition. The ample rainfly has a vestibule for both doors. It also has a window in it that has become a bit foggy as they do. It may be able to be rubbed clear, i have not tried. There is also a pop up vent on each side of the fly at the top. Super clean and great size tent. Even the lightweight aluminum shockcorded poles and the stakes seem to be very, very clean. The guy lines for added stability have never been unraveled. Has three stuff sacks for the poles, stakes and the tent. Great and lightweight for backpacking and weighs just 5 lbs, 12 oz and measures approx. 23 x 6 x 6â stuffed with everything in itâ¦. Kelty Zen Backpacking Bivy Tent Lightweight Great Ventilation Camping
This is a great small tent and super lightweight at approx. 5 lbs with everything in the stuff sack. Has lots of ventilation, the ceiling and the sides as well as the foot and the front door which also has a zip up cover. This has the original footprint as well.
Has an ample rainfly but i noticed that the underside of the fly is sticky and makes it somewhat difficult to undo in order to set it up. The tent itself does not have this issue at all and is quite clean. I did undo it and set it up for the images so it is not like it canât be done, but i wanted to point this out. If you do not need the fly and are going for super lightweight camping, then even better.
The fly does provide a vestibule and has a zipper. This is a great 1 person tent and that is probably what it is rated as, although 2 folks could certainly use this, just a bit cozy.
Maybe 2 people wouldnât be so crowded after all. You could look this up on their website for further technical info.

Tarptent notch by henry shires. Let me begin by saying this is the best backpacking tent design i have seen. It is extremely lightweight yet has ample space for 1 person + dog and gear.
Seams have been sealed and strips of silicon have been added to the base to keep sleeping pad from slipping as advised in the instructions. Here are some more specs on this great tent. Dual trekking pole support; no poles in your living space. Double wall, dual entry, and dual vestibules. Separate living compartment clips up to fly and is completely removable.
Separate living compartment sets up independently. Interior never gets wet during entry, exit, setup or takedown in storms. Roomy with generous vestibules for excellent gear storage space. Excellent ventilation, views, and moisture management. Taut pitch with pitchloc foldable corners.
Fast setup â about 1 minute from sack to pitched. 16 x 3.5 / 41 x 9.

The North Face Nimbus Backpacking Tent Camping Lightweight Great 2 Doors Vestibu
This is easily a two person tent with lots of room. Has two doors, one on either of the wide sides. Lots of screen for ventilation and incredible star gazing.
Has a large rainfly that has a vestibule at both doors and each one has an eyebrow to keep rain from getting in. This tent looks like it was possibly put up one time. When i opened the stakes they were pristine. They now have a bit of dirt from my set up. Super clean and the shockcorded aluminum poles were still in their plastic wrap and then in their own stuff sack.
They are still attached though and work fine. In the stake bag there is also a tube of seam sealer and a brush. Also is the original pamphlet on this tent. Set up instructions and the like.
Super easy to set up and quick. There are three sleeves for the three poles. In the stuff sack, this tent and all of its goodies weigh approx. 8 lbs and measure approx. 23 x 8 x 8â but could be compressed to a bit smaller if need be. Great colors and a fantastic tent. Especially if you like starsâ¦the north face, one of the all time greatsâ¦you may be able to look this one up on their website for any further technical infoâ¦. The North Face Backpacking Camping Tent 2 Person Lightweight W Rainfly
It is a two person and has three lighwight aluminum shock corded poles. There are two small holes in the front screen. There is a professional patch sewn into the floor. The inside floor is dirty, a bit sticky and could possibly have some peeling. There is a tent like odor to it. Someone wrote on the outside: summit hut 6.
That being said, it is a great tent with years left. Lighweight it is 5 lbs 5 oz approx. Measures in the stuff sack approx. 22 x 5â so takes up little space.
I list this at a low price due to the issues that i have described. A fraction of the new tnf tent prices if these things are ok with you. The seams have been sealed. Great and ample rainfly with a nice front vestibuleâ¦. Tent and rainfly are in great condition both inside and out. Super lightweight (just under 3 lbs packed). It’s a non-freestanding tent, but you probably already know that : i just re-installed new elastic bands inside the poles, so the tension is great and will last a long, long time.
I really like the tent, but personally prefer a freestanding one. Check online for its specifications. This is a classic design from a company that really knows its outdoor design & engineering.
