It is easy to set up, ventilates incredibly well, keeps you dry and bug free. I had it seam-sealed by the tarptent folks (for an extra $25). Nope, but i got a slightly larger tarptent model in hopes of getting the mutt to be happy.
The poles in these pictures are not a part of the sale. This is a great tent if you are counting ounces or even if you are not. There is plenty of room inside for the most robust of hikers, and the 2 vestibules can keep your pack dry and serve as a potential kitchenette (hiking style). Product condition: tent is in excellent condition. This is the perfect, lightweight tent for all of the fast backpackers out there. It has not been in rain or heavy winds. My dog in the picture’s background has never been in the tent. Other than dirty stakes and some dust on the bottom, there are no flaws or defects. It is complete with all of the original hardware. Tarptent notch by henry shires 1 person ultralight 26 oz backpacking tent. This tarptent “notch” tent has seen very little use and is in excellent condition. It has been well cared for and is clean, seam sealed, and includes the original 4 stakes, stake bag, guylines, stuff sack and instructions.
No rips, tears, holes or smells (comes from a smoke free home). The shelter only weighs 26 ounces and the packed stuff sack size is 16 x 3.5 in. This tent is designed to be supported with treking poles (walking sticks). Treking poles are not included with this tent. Trekking poles need to be set to the length of 110-115cm/43-45inches. Trekking poles are preferred but a 4-ounce alternate pole set is listed as available from tarptent. Wrinkles in photos are due to the tent being stored in the stuff sack. This tarp tent has never before been used. It’s been taken out of the package once for a test set-up. The patent pending rainbow and double rainbow incorporate trekking poles at their base to become the world’s first single-arch, free-standing shelters.

This is a great bivy but i no longer use it. It includes the bivy, stuff sack, poles, extra snap pole, instructions and laminated quick instructions. The bivy is in great condition with no tears, snags or worn spots. The bivy floor is in great shape and does not leak. The zipper is in perfect condition.
The poles are in great shape with strong elastic. The bivy was used with a tyvek ground cloth at all times. The stuff sack shows more wear than the bivy.
