Scout is a shelter that realizes the maximum internal space and, at the same time, minimum weight. The shape of a regular hexagon gives the maximum possible wind resistance from all sides. The shelter has a single T-entrance on a reinforced #5 water repellent YKK Aquaguard zipper. The pyramid tent is designed for 3 people. The area of the internal living space is about 5.85 square meters. Scout Tarp is setting up on a trekking pole in the center. For setup you need minimum 6 pegs. Stakes and poles are not included. Small packed size and volume. SCOUT FULL MESH 3P. SCOUT HALF MESH 1P. You get an ultralight frameless two-layer shelter. Seams of the tarp are non-sealed. For sealing the seams we recommend sealant based on silicone. (earlier known as McNett Silnet Seam Sealer). The shelter is made from 1.1 oz Levitex Silpoly 20D Ripstop 2000 mm. SETUP IN 4 STEPS. Stretch corners with pegs in the shape of a regular hexagon. Put the trekking pole from the inside to the top of the tent vertically about 165cm. Add long guy lines on a separate pegs for additional wind resistance. Tight all guy lines for a good tarp’s tension. 1 entrance with YKK AquaGuard water repellent zipper. 13 loops with a Linelock for more comfortable pitching a adjustment of a guy lines. See pics for details and condition. A tiny bit sticky and sandy from beach, but would air out and clean up. And one spot on rainfly doesnt attach with pole as seen, has some flaking on seems, otherwise excellent quality tent.
