Scout is a shelter that realizes the maximum internal space and, at the same time, minimum weight. The shape of a regular hexagon gives the maximum possible wind resistance from all sides. The shelter has a single T-entrance on a reinforced #5 water repellent YKK Aquaguard zipper. The pyramid tent is designed for 3 people. The area of the internal living space is about 5.85 square meters. Scout Tarp is setting up on a trekking pole in the center. For setup you need minimum 6 pegs. Stakes and poles are not included. Small packed size and volume. SCOUT FULL MESH 3P. SCOUT HALF MESH 1P. You get an ultralight frameless two-layer shelter. Seams of the tarp are non-sealed. For sealing the seams we recommend sealant based on silicone. (earlier known as McNett Silnet Seam Sealer). The shelter is made from 1.1 oz Levitex Silpoly 20D Ripstop 2000 mm. SETUP IN 4 STEPS. Stretch corners with pegs in the shape of a regular hexagon. Put the trekking pole from the inside to the top of the tent vertically about 165cm. Add long guy lines on a separate pegs for additional wind resistance. Tight all guy lines for a good tarp’s tension. 1 entrance with YKK AquaGuard water repellent zipper. 13 loops with a Linelock for more comfortable pitching a adjustment of a guy lines. UHMW PE guy lines. The shelter material is made from recycled plastic bottles collected in the ocean. Materials: 1.1 oz Levitex Silpoly 20D Ripstop 2000 mm, WJ, YKK Aquaguard zipper #5. Weight: 590 g / 640 g with guylines and stuff sack. Size: 300 cm x 260 cm, the length of one edge is 150 cm / height 165cm. Complete set: Scout Tarp, UHMW PE guy lines, stuff sack. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be covered with tips. Or you can put a soft cloth / equipment under the sharp end of the pole. Do not insert the sharp ends of sticks or posts into the top of the shelter. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be insulated to avoid breaking the top of the shelter.

Sears Hillary 9×11 5-person canvas tent. Very good condition for being 40+ years in age. Just needs to be aired out a bit after being in storage. Look at the photos to see condition of the tent, including the inside, roof, and walls. All of the loops and string ties are intact. Will include part of the original box. One small damaged area in floor (see pic near marker) and one corner had sealant added. Overall, very nice condition.
