North Face Assault 2 2 Person Tent Used once

North Face Assault 2 – 2 Person Tent – slightly used. 50D DryWall fabric, not Futurelight fabric. The tent is in perfect condition–no holes, no tears, no bent or broken poles. The stuff bag, however, has some abrasions on it, including one patched tear–see photos (this occurred because I had the stuffed tent attached to the outside of my backpack and sat against it a few times hiking). There is also some dirt stains on the bottom and on the logos of the tent itself (see photos)–I hosed it down and wiped it off with a towel thoroughly, but did not put it in the washer. This is cosmetic and will likely come off with further cleaning. Please google and read online reviews before purchasing. This is a stout high altitude or winter mountaineering type tent. It is as water resistant as your average single walled tent, but keep in mind it performs best below freezing. Although the set-up is simple, the poles require quite a bit of force to engage, but once engaged its taut as a drum, making it extremely wind and storm resistant. I found that placing a foot inside the tent to stabilize it allowed me to engage the pole tip into the grommet with relative ease–without doing this I had difficulty. However there is a faint smell of bug spray on the tent. The window on the rain vestibule has come off and will need to be glued back on. There are 12 of the original aluminum tent stakes, but I think there should be 14. I will include 2 additional aluminum stakes (not pictured).
