This tent has only been used for one week which is why it is in outstanding condition. A beautiful teal colour on sand. The height of the king pole is 2.3 metres and the front is 1.85 metres high. The tent is 3 metres wide by 4 metres deep, plus the awning which provides an additional 1.3 metres of depth. The awning is a joy as it zips to the main tent, providing a perfect draught-free fit. There are vents with mosquito mesh above the front windows which can be left open for air at night. Laminated erection instructions are provided and the poles are colour-coded for ease of assembly. All lines and pegs included. This tent is virtually mint. It smells as though it has just come out of a shop. A fairly recent example of a Dutch pyramid tent in outstanding condition. The tent fabric has only a very few light marks on it and looks superb. The awning is new and has not been used before. The front of the tent is a very modern grey colour while the zips are a funky sort of crimson red. The height of the king pole is 2.3 metres and the front is 1.85 metres high. The tent is 2.8 metres wide by 3.5 metres deep, plus the awning which provides an additional 1.2 metres of depth. The groundsheet is sewn-in so the inside should remain insect and rain free. There are vents with mosquito mesh above the front windows which can be left open for air at night. Laminated erection instructions are provided and the poles are colour-coded for ease of assembly. All lines and pegs included. This tent would be ideal for a couple or a single parent with one or two children. It is a nice light package and the awning provides useful additional covered space. I should add that the saggy bits in the photos are due to my putting it up in thirty degree heat this afternoon and being too exhausted to tension it all out properly. Vrijbuiter Koekoek 4 Berth Dutch Canvas Tent. Very good condition and offering vast amounts of space with the included awning. This is the first time we have seen one of these. It is a very user-friendly design. The tent is wider at the back than at the front whilst the two inner tents sit either side of the rear living area, itself lit by a rear window. Dimensions 3 metres wide at the front and 6.2 metres wide at the back. 4 metres deep plus a built in canopy 0.85 metres deep. 2.3 metres high at the masts and 1.8 metres high at the entrance. A variable awning offers further sheltered space and can be closed down in bad weather. This is only in the last photograph as I did not see it until I was packing up! One of the joys of these tents is that the front wall is zipped in. It can either be located at the front to provide maximum internal area, such as in bad weather, or it can be zipped into position further into the tent, thus providing a generous awning area for sitting out. In audition to the awning referred to above! The groundsheet is zipped in and covers the entire footprint of the tent. There are two good sized inner tents which flank the living area which itself benefits from a window with blind at the rear. It is highly unusual to come across a pyramid tent with a rear window. We have checked all the zips. There are two hanging storage units with this tent. Needless to say, there is no damage to this tent and no repairs have been carried out. The colour is consistent and I cannot see any fading. There are some small spots of sap and bird droppings. Doubtless some of these would benefit from a good downpour. The tent looks very clean though and the canvas is firm and smells fresh. The poles are all good and straight and we have checked all the lines and ensured a full itinerary of pegs. Laminated erection instructions are provided in English and the poles are colour-coded for ease of assembly. This tent would be ideal for a family. The separate groundsheet and the zipped in front wall allow the tent to be broken down into several packages that are convenient to transport. With the additional awning almost any weather conditions can be catered for. Like a lot of people we camp without inner tents so I did a few measurements. It is worth noting that the areas to the rear left and right of the king poles would each take a double bed 7 feet long by 5 feet wide!
