If you have been interested in the ECWT line of military 4 man tents than this is a good opertunity to add a complete unit to your collection. Both tents are identical, they are both made by Eureka and each have all corresponding oem items which come with them, except i noticed one does not have guy out lines. The guy-out lines are just plain hanks of para-cord. I have owned a number of these and have never used the guy-out lines, they are for storm conditions. Other than this they are totally complete to every detail. They have 2 flys (one for summer and one for winter). The tents are made with blackout material so light does not give away your position. These tents are of high quality and are water tight and durable, they should last for years of regular use. Both tents are complete down to every item. (except the para-cord guy out lines on 1 of the tents, they are just para-cord hanks, nothing special). They have everything such as complete repair kit, all stakes, bags etc and condition of both tents is superb. Neither of these tents has been set up outside and one has never been set up at all (I don’t remember which). To make clear: there are NO rips, tears, holes that don’t belong, stains, etc. All screens are perfect. There are no fabric repairs or any funny business. Their both in great shape. As far as the negatives go. The white winter fly cover has flaking of the white layer of material which is on it and does not look new. This is the way every single ECWT white winter fly has been that I have owned so far. Both tents are exactly the same in this regard. Also note that the winter flys are both fully functional as far as set up and use, they just have the flaking issue common to all ECWT white winter flys. Also the poles look as though they have been used on one of the tents. The poles on both tents are 100% functional and ready to use. Also, one of these tents was previously owned by a boyscout troop. That troop never used the tent but they did stencil their troop number with spray paint on the outside of the main bag, that is on the main bag only. When I get these tents (I have owned a number of them) I go through the items and make sure everything was there. I would sometimes have to source items like poles and bags etc. After I made sure they where complete and ready for use I would seal them in mylar bags for storage. Is a local business, so I find their high-quality tents on a regular basis. This is a vintage Chateau-12 cabin tent, with a nylon floor and polyester canvas upper. There are no tears or holes anywhere in the material, and all the zippers work great. Poles are aluminum and in fine shape. I set up the tent and took pictures before I replaced 4 of the bungee cords. 3 were stretched out and one had been replaced poorly with a thinner piece of cord. See photo 11 for a closeup of one of the repairs. I also acquired a new tent bag from Eureka! The tent measures 11.5 x 8.5 x 7H. It comes with tent bag, pole bag, and a stake bag with 6 plastic stakes. Pictures show the tent from all angles. With the new bungee cords, it should set up even better. The item “Vintage Eureka!
