I ordered this tent directly from China. It took a couple of months to get here and in that time I changed cars and I can’t use it any longer. The tent features a telescoping aluminum ladder, double layer waterproof canvas, large skylight for viewing the stars at night, windows on each side, foam mattress, hydraulic opening hard shell, etc. Shell: ABS = Stainless pole frame + High quality wooden board. Body: Durable Canvas Polyester Oxford PU, UV-resistant & Waterproof. Mattress: 2 inch memory foam. Ladder: 90 Aluminum Alloy. Max Load: 660 pounds. Length/width/height: 85″ x 83″ x 51. Inside: 83″ x 83″. I’m located between Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia. I’ve been asked several times who the company/label is. There isn’t a company/label, as I went straight to the source. The Chinese factory was willing to put whatever label on I wanted and I declined. As a reference, this is a clone of another high-end hard shell tent. That tent is manufactured in South Korea. They will attach to almost ANY car, truck, or van! Roofnests have a foam mattress built right into them and you can store your bedding inside the Roofnest so its always with you and always ready to go. You dont need a van to live the #vanlife! Sleeps 2 adults plus 1 child. Interior: 55 wide by 82 long. Exterior: 58 wide by 85 long. 37 tall on inside. The outer shell is a reinforced structural fiberglass with an aerodynamic design that decreases road noise and improves gas mileage. The inside of the fiberglass shell is coated with a soft foam to further reduce interior noise and give the inside a soft feel. The fabric is much thicker and tougher than a typical backpacking tent more like a heavy-duty wall tent. All Roofnests have two mesh windows at the front and back with zip closures. On either side of the tent is a doorway with a mesh screen and zip closure on either side. The roof top tent can be entered from either side. The ladder collapses and comes with its own heavy duty storage bag. The ladder can be attached to the edge of the Roofnest for additional safety if desired. Every Roofnest comes with a built-in, custom-shaped 6cm foam mattress. What a dream to sleep on! This is not your typical camping mattress, it feels like a real bed. If youve had difficulty sleeping while camping those problems are going to be a distant memory after a few nights in a Roofnest.
