I’ve only set this up inside my house (It barely fit) so I can’t say anything about waterproofing or wind, but I can say that it sets up easy and comes down even easier. Our previous 6 man was tight for the 6 of us so I went bigger this time. 1 person can set it up easily. Just spread it out first and be careful folding it out, It has to fold out like spider legs or the hinges can get tangled. If you pull the wrong way you could break the hinges and ruin the tent, Something must have been folded wrong when I got it because it was hard to open the first time. After I put it away once it folded out fine and I didn’t have any issues. This tent is HUGE and was super easy and quick to put up and take down. This was the easiest tent ever to set up. Plenty of room for 5 with three air mattresses. I fit 4-5 cots around the edges and plenty of room in the middle to move around and play games if the weather is bad. Easy to set up by myself and put away by myself. I thought it would be impossible to get it back in the bag, but it fit no problem. The only down side I saw is that if it’s windy, the tent has trouble staying up, so you just need to be cognizant of this and use something like a car to block the wind or stake it down well. This tent was very easy to assemble and take down. My husband did the set up with my daughter so wasn’t too hard to figure out, just time consuming to be done right. Was very spacious and worked great, we didn’t have rain so couldn’t speak for that. Very easy set up! Very easy and fast setup. Very large, lots of ventilation. Fit 2 queen and 2 full size air beds, a pack and play and belongings for 4 adults and 2 kids. 1 person can set up in about 3 or 4 minutes. It does take 2 people to put the rain fly on however. Has 2 access doors which is also nice. Canopy acts as a door however so to have it up means no privacy there is a screen to keep the bugs out however! We used this tent for the first time this past weekend. It is much larger than I imagined. We stayed at the Jetty Park in Cocoa Beach. It was hot during the day and cool at night. The tent got VERY hot during the day. When it rained, not a drop inside. We did spray this tent with water proofing before we used it. The BEST thing about this tent is that you can put it up and take it down in minutes. It is SOOOO easy. The only downfall is that the opening could be larger for putting stuff in and out. It’s very roomy and tall I’m 6’2 and can’t touch the ceiling We have a queen size bed and a sofa and still have lots or room left over. I had to repurchase it because someone stole the first one.
