The Nutshell is a 3-season, 3-pole tent with a mesh upper body. The Hardshell is similar but has normal tent fabric instead of mesh. Both tents weigh in at just under 5 lbs with the body, poles, and rainfly. 1-2 people depending on how cozy you like sleeping. This tent is great! It is a cinch to set up and is well made. Even with the rainfly on, the tent ventilates extremely well. I have used the tent in rain, snow, fair weather, hot weather, and extreme winds, all without a problem if properly staked and guyed out.
