There is a Cherokee that has had a special custom Flat Roof Rack installed that helps to distribute the weight of the 140 Pound XL Tent and the people inside of the tent. The other is a white Jeep with the SRC rack. It can be done, but for legal reasons they cannot say it should be done. You can physically mount the XL on top of your vehicle, but they cannot recommend it.
