Crux X1 Raid Expedition Tent

The X1 Raid is the smallest and lightest of our single-skin tent range. A conventional 2-pole, Bibler-style bivouac tent, what sets it apart is our new, and quite unique, X-tex fabric. We are hesitant to call the X-tex fabric revolutionary it still has limitations but it does present significant improvements and advantages over the existing PTFE-type breathable membrane fabrics that are currently used. You can read the technical explanation here. There are subtleties in the X1 Raids design that are not immediately evident to the eye, however. The poles are inserted through external pole sleeves, making it quicker and easier to pitch. This also means that the guy points loop around the poles themselves, taking stress directly off the seams. Mesh panel in door. Tie off loop in roof.
