TENTIPI SAFIR 9 Nordic Tipi / family tent / hunting tent / wood stove hot tent / group camp tent. This is the top of the line in Tentipi’s lineup. This tipi is considered in the top 1% of tents worldwide. If you are here you probably already know the drill. This tipi could stand up to 60mph winds at Death Valley and laugh about it while cheap Coleman tents litter the campground. This tipi can handle high winds, snow, rain and bugs. It has been used on multiple expeditions and there is a guy in Europe living in one with over 500 straight days exposed to all 4 seasons (see Tentipi Diaries on YT). This tent is epic for any time you are using a “force multiplier” like a canoe, car, sled, snowmobile, horse, mule, ATV or other hauler. It a perfect tent for hunting camp. Bought this tipi for a project and hosed it off to season it then only set it up for 2 days in dry weather. No one even slept in it. There are no defects, no fading, no sap, and no food prep, no eating, no campfires, and no smoking occurred in or around this tent. I chose “Used” as the condition but everything about the tent is in new condition and everything works perfectly. NOTE: for the pics I did not stake out the guy lines and this tipi will pitch tighter. Just wanted to get it set up quickly for some pics. Made of breathable poly cotton blend canvas. 17.38 feet diameter / 10.17 feet high. 3 vents at the ground level let in cool air and tipi is noticably cooler than outside air temp when venting. Arge center adjustable top cap vents off hot air. All vents are no-see-um mesh covered to keep out bugs. Mesh can be rolled out of the way to run a campfire inside the tent. Mesh screen door. Ready for a wood stove. Multiple topcap vent controls. Single aluminum pole. Wooden base plate. 10 large aluminum ground stakes. 18 medium aluminum stakes. 10 vent flap stakes. Canvas carry bag.
