I collected this yesterday from a genuine couple just north of Amsterdam. A one owner De Waard Zilvermeeuw (Herring Gull) from 1995. All very good with the only repair being a pole tip hole which has been patched in the front canopy area, not the living area itself and hard to spot in use. Dimensions 3 metres wide by 3.8 deep plus a front canopy 1 metre deep. 2.2 metres high at the mast and 1.8 metres high at the entrance. Having twin masts this tent provides good headroom over a large area. Note that this tent has the extended De Waard canopy with side zips that connect to the wings. This can be zipped down as shown and in this position one is provided with a covered awning area 2.25 metres deep. This is also reassuring as it can be zipped down for security when the tent is left unattended. The sewn in groundsheet ensures that nights are spent free from insects and rising damp. A clean tent for its age with only normal usage marks and a bit of bird poo. It could do with a good soaking. The canvas is solid and smells fresh. The colour is consistent. The following are included. 2 side wings with zips. An extended De Waard awning. A Full set of matching pegs and lines. A genuine De Waard rubberised tent carpet as shown. Laminated instructions in English. The poles are colour-coded for ease of assembly.
