Original Rhinowolf 3-Season 1-person Modular Camping Backpacking Tent with Pad

This is a used original (Kickstarter) Rhinowolf 3-Season Tent. It comes with a fairly new Klymit Static V Lite insulated sleeping pad and the original down zip-in blanket. The tent itself is made of ripstop nylon, with a polyester floor. Note that the floor had some damage and has been repaired, and I haven’t had any issues with the repair. The frame is 8.5mm aluminum poles, one long one that slides through lengthwise, and one short one that goes across widthwise. The short pole slides through a hook inside the tent, and is the easiest way to tell a Rhinowolf 1 from a Rhinowolf 2. With a Rhinowolf 2, this short pole is on the outside of the tent. The carrying bag also suffered some damage, which was also repaired. The zip-in blanket is filled with duck down. Between the insulated sleeping pad and the zip-in blanket, I have camped comfortably down to about 45F, and 40F with an additional blanket. When I know it’s going to be colder, I will use an appropriate sleeping bag on top of the blanket. The big allure of this tent is that it can zip together with other Rhinowolf tents by undoing the zippers for the mesh door on one side, then joining the zippers together. You can zip the mesh “doors” together and tuck them down in between the two tents to prevent ground-crawling bugs from getting into the double-tent. Please note that the Rhinowolf 2 tents are not zipper-compatible with the Rhinowolf 1 tents. The tent is water resistant but not really water proof. I’ve used it during some pretty heavy downpours, and once the nylon gets saturated, water will drip through. The ripstop nylon dries pretty fast, as does the down blanket. The original Kickstarter for this tent advertised it as a backpacking tent. If you are thinking about using it as such, you probably want to know the weights. Tent : 1.3kg (2.86lbs) (this includes the poles). Sleeping pad : 0.68g (1.5lbs). Down blanket : 0.55g (1.2lbs). Total : 2.53kg (5.58lbs). The dimensions of the packed tent inside the carrying bag are approximately 8″x8″x16. The damage, since repaired, is essentially cosmetic and doesn’t affect the tent’s operation at all. Since it’s on the bottom of the tent, you don’t even see it once the tent is up. My home is 100% nonsmoking.
