This is the most up to date design after decades of fine tuning and tweaking different attributes in order to optimize for efficiency, comfort, versatility, and aerodynamics. With the assistance of the stainless steel hydraulic struts, the opening and closing of the tent is completed in 15 seconds for optimal efficiency and convenience. The memory foam mattress provides great comfort. Versatility comes to play with the Insulation liner that is zipped into the internals of the tent, providing needed warmth in cool climates and is removable in 15-20 seconds by zipper when traveling to warm climates. 7.4 when the shell is closed, coupled with an aerodynamic and lightweight design, allows for optimal fuel efficiency. The Stainless steel hydraulic strut is responsible for allowing the tent to open and close with ease. The struts rest inside the tent outer shell when closed to protect it from the elements. Single rainfly covering all three windows, 4 poles used, rolls up when not in use. Can be in-zipped completely if not needed. Along with 5 other pockets on the ceiling. As well as 3 on each side. Total of 12 pockets internally. 5cm memory foam high quality mattress for optimal comfort. Ventilation port on each side of the tent for proper ventilation.

High quality MSR 1 person, super lightweight, backpacking tent. Had only been used on one trip, and (tent, poles, fly) is structurally as good as new. All SEAMS and materials are superb. That said, there are dirty places along the bottom of the tent, and on the rainfly. Which can easily be cleaned. Tent has been stored within a tote, with other camping items, in a climate controlled room (home). (NOTE) There are 2 issues with this lot. 1 The Tent Bag does have a tiny tear. “Imaged” Which could easily be repaired, or left as is. 2 The Tent does not come with its Original Stakes, or any.
