I collected this yesterday from a genuine couple just north of Amsterdam. A one owner De Waard Zilvermeeuw (Herring Gull) from 1995. All very good with the only repair being a pole tip hole which has been patched in the front canopy area, not the living area itself and hard to spot in use. Dimensions 3 metres wide by 3.8 deep plus a front canopy 1 metre deep. 2.2 metres high at the mast and 1.8 metres high at the entrance. Having twin masts this tent provides good headroom over a large area. Note that this tent has the extended De Waard canopy with side zips that connect to the wings. This can be zipped down as shown and in this position one is provided with a covered awning area 2.25 metres deep. This is also reassuring as it can be zipped down for security when the tent is left unattended. The sewn in groundsheet ensures that nights are spent free from insects and rising damp. A clean tent for its age with only normal usage marks and a bit of bird poo. It could do with a good soaking. The canvas is solid and smells fresh. The colour is consistent. The following are included. 2 side wings with zips. An extended De Waard awning. A Full set of matching pegs and lines. A genuine De Waard rubberised tent carpet as shown. Laminated instructions in English. The poles are colour-coded for ease of assembly. This tent has only been used for one week which is why it is in outstanding condition. A beautiful teal colour on sand. The height of the king pole is 2.3 metres and the front is 1.85 metres high. The tent is 3 metres wide by 4 metres deep, plus the awning which provides an additional 1.3 metres of depth. The awning is a joy as it zips to the main tent, providing a perfect draught-free fit. There are vents with mosquito mesh above the front windows which can be left open for air at night. Laminated erection instructions are provided and the poles are colour-coded for ease of assembly. All lines and pegs included. This tent is virtually mint. It smells as though it has just come out of a shop. A fairly recent example of a Dutch pyramid tent in outstanding condition. The tent fabric has only a very few light marks on it and looks superb. The awning is new and has not been used before. The front of the tent is a very modern grey colour while the zips are a funky sort of crimson red. The height of the king pole is 2.3 metres and the front is 1.85 metres high. The tent is 2.8 metres wide by 3.5 metres deep, plus the awning which provides an additional 1.2 metres of depth. The groundsheet is sewn-in so the inside should remain insect and rain free. There are vents with mosquito mesh above the front windows which can be left open for air at night. Laminated erection instructions are provided and the poles are colour-coded for ease of assembly. All lines and pegs included. This tent would be ideal for a couple or a single parent with one or two children. It is a nice light package and the awning provides useful additional covered space. I should add that the saggy bits in the photos are due to my putting it up in thirty degree heat this afternoon and being too exhausted to tension it all out properly.
