Excellent condition rarely used hard to find 4 season tent from Marmot. Single door with lots of closing options, great venting , sky windows for star gazing, lots of mesh storage bags, and quick set up and take down, fly has venting options and small area for your back packs. Although the tent is older it is in great condition. It has one hole on the flys vestibule near the ground. The poles are replacements from Easton. Includes tent, fly, burrito tent bag (missing the fold over strap), poles and 7 stakes. These tents were designed to use 3 ways: fly with footprint, tent only and tent and fly. The tent weights just over 8 pounds and is about 92 by 58. The tent has been used and has dirt marks on the fly and tent itself but nothing major. Marmot Swallow 3 Person Tent withfootprint-Rare

Here’s a rare find- a Marmot 3 Person Swallow Tent! This is my favorite tent design. This tent is very easy to set up, a 3 pole tent that has 2 doors, ceiling windows and zip covers over all door/windows for temperature and ventilation control. They don’t make them like this anymore- everything nowadays is “ultralight” meaning all mesh and COLD! The Marmot Swallow 3 Person tent was only made for a couple of years so there aren’t that many around in very good condition like this one. The Rain Fly has some sap stains on it but it is fully functional and I see no signs of delamination on the taped seams on either the tent body or rain fly. The tent comes with an additional gear loft and Footprint that does not look like it was ever used. Some of the pole sections have some splits on the ends but I have wrapped Tenatious Tape to keep them from splitting further and stay usable. Included in the sale are the Burrito Bag tent bag which doubles as large hanging storage inside the tent, Pole bag, Tent stakes, Tent repair kit, and Guy lines. Marmot Swallow 2 Person Camping Tent. Condition: NEW with all parts. Tent has been kept in storage so there is minor wear to the stuff sack. Poles are brand new from Marmot but are not the original poles that came with tent. Comes with: tent, rain fly, poles, stuff sack, manual, repair fabric, stakes, guylines and gear loft in original packaging. Rainfly is slightly sticking from storage, but no delamination is present. Tent was gently setup for photoshoot and then repacked. This is a wonderful tent and I hate to part with it, but I have to at this time. This is a great ventilated tent with zippable windows. I have a super nice marmot swallow 2 person 4 season tent. I used this tent one time for one night, it still smells like new when you set it up. This tent is in like new condition with no hole, tears, or malfunctioning zippers. It mite have a slightly bent pole i don’t know if it was designed like that or not, never affected anything at all. Marmot Swallow Tent (2 Person/4 Season)

This is an excellent, extraordinarily versatile durable mountaineering class tent. Unlike most mountaineering class tents, this original version of the marmot swallow is suitable for use any time of year and is adaptable to serve as a reliable shelter in any type of conditions. Though not an ultra light shelter, it is one of the lightest weight double walled expeditionary mountaineering tents, and has the advantage that it can be setup in three different configurations, including fast pitch configuration with just the foot print and the tent fly, the tent alone, or full on bomber with footprint, tent and fly. In short, this is a “go to” tent for every trip where having a stout, reliable shelter is a priority over an ultra light set up. No matter which configuration you choose, you will feel safe, secure, and protected in this tent. This tent has proven its worth as a hard core shelter that will stand up to anything you can throw at it. Its versatile design, with its incredible venting possibilities, makes it possible to deal with monsoons in the tropics, howling blizzards in the arctic, and still be comfortable pitching the tent “cabana style” on the beach in costa rica. In short, this is a go anywhere tent that is both durable and relatively light weight.

As is typical on tents of this vintage, the urethane coating applied by the factory to the tent fly has partially deteriorated in some areas which are somewhat noticeable close up. The tent fly itself is otherwise in excellent condition. (take a look at all the photos of the fly and the last photo which shows close up shots of some of the more noticeable areas where the urethane coating has decayed). The tent fly was professionally cleaned and treated with a dwr. The second to last photo shows the current ability of the fly to effectively repel water. However, i do not guarantee that the dwr will continue to prevent the fabric on the tent fly from wetting through.
This is a superb tent that will serve your needs for a durable shelter for years to come. From a smoke free/pet free environment.
