Tarptent MoTrail Ultralight Backpacking Tent (Two-person)

For sale is a Tarptent MoTrail Ultralight Backpacking Tent (Two-person). This is a great, ultralight backpacking tent. I’ve used it four total times on solo trips or with my partner; it’s light enough to be a spacious solo tent, and big enough to fit two comfortably. If you’re shopping for a Tarptent, you probably already know: you’ll need trekking poles to complete the set-up; this tent does not have it’s own pole system. This tent has been on backpacking trips in Yosemite, the Oregon High Desert, and the Hoh Rain Forest in the Olympic Peninsula. It’s done great on all these trips (a bit of condensation in the Hoh Rain Forest, but you’re going to get that on any tent in a rain forest). No rips, tears, or any other damage. I’ve included a fitted tyvek groundcover and a few extra Y-stakes in the package, for good measure. You’ll feel the difference on your back when you’ve got this in your pack; I can’t believe what a difference it has made in our daily mileage, and how less achy you feel at the end of a hike. Scarp 1 by Tarptent. Brand New and Unopened.. Most of the pictures are from stock illustrations as I dont want to unpack this brand new tent. 2 pictures show the actual tent which is in its bag with paper insert. The interior is the solid option which is a mix of fabric and mesh, more suited to 4 season use. There are no extra crossing poles. Frankly, I find these unnecessary and have used the Scarp 1 in winds approaching 50mph without the need for the extra weight of the cross-poles. The Scarp 1 is an excellent tent. Tarptent Rainbow – 1P ultralight tent. A few years old. Includes the removable liner if you want to avoid condensation on your sleeping bag/gear. I looked it over and didnt see any holes or tears, but it will likely come with some blades of dead grass from these setup photos that can be shaken off. It looks like some of the seam sealant is flaking in small areas (see the last photo), but that would be an easy touch-up job for whoever buys.
