Im 62, 250 pounds and there was plenty of room end-to-end and side to side for me and some of my gear. Vestibule keeps bigger, bulkier gear dry. Ive decided to pack the extra weight and sleep decadently at night in a two person Big Agnes UL that is a lot easier to set up and not crazy heavy. Plenty of room for one person. Bath-tub design works great, actually pitched this tent in what turned out to be a dried rain spout while camping in the mountain. POURED rain that night and I could feel water running under the tent and around the bath tub walls. Used it for bike packing and it was the easiest thing to find room for on my rig. Comes with Tyvek ground cloth that fits the footrprint of the tent and the poles that Tarptent makes for this tent (front and rear) so you dont need trekking poles. No tears in the netting, floor, sides, seams, anywhere! The not so good.. PRACTICE pitiching this tent before you hit the trail. It is a tent, but it pitches like a tarp so tension is the name of the game. Watch videos online while you pitch it, work on getting it just right. When you get it just right, take it down and practice again. Before you hit the trail. When you pitch it perfectly, it works perfectly. When you dont, you can end up with a big soggy mess in the middle of the night. And, the stakes that came with it are junk. Two broke because of some lightly rocky soil. I ditched them and splurged on some good stakes that Im keeping. If you get this tent, I suggest you splurge on getting some good stakes of your own. One of the end caps on the small rear pole stuck in some loose soil and came off. Ive taped up that end with gorilla tape.
