The canvas is in very good used condition with minimal signs of use. The metal poles have surface rust and marks from normal use and storage. The will need 4-8 stakes and rope to stand the canopy up. Great vintage setup for your camp. Please review the photos and please ask questions.

No rips or tears. Comes with footprint and 2 sets of stakes. One terra and one sand or snow. True 4 season tent. Back when they were in production they were called bomb shelters. Rated 5 of 5 stars November 11, 2005. When i was looking for a tent I wanted one for all seasons. I researched 100s of tents. It took me about a month just to narrow down to finally picking the MSR Fusion 2. Took it camping many times through rain, hot, and cold and it defeats all seasons and weather with ease. In high wind the tent is silent, no flaping of any parts, stakes out great, plenty of vents, one huge door/vent, a big overhead vent, and a huge vent opposite the door that reaches up to the apex at the top. Nice for star gazing in warm weather because it opens up in so many places. Setup is as easy as it gets. The poles’ slots have two places were you can put the pole in one place for warmer weather for when the material expands and the other for cold when the material tightens up. This tent will make anyone happy that buys it. You will be sheltered from all weather conditions. The only thing is, I don’t have the footprint and I want it. Rated 4.5 of 5 stars August 20, 2008. I’ve had mine for 8 years, had 1 pole snap (and repaired for free by MSR). Great in the cold with a good bag (I’ve used it down to -20c), good in strong wind. Very small for two adult males, and the vestibule is good for about 2 pairs of boots, no packs really. It’s fairly small and light for a 4 season tent though.

Condition of the tent is excellent and looks as if it was hardly used. It was in storage for 40 years. The only small thing I’ve noticed is the plastic caps on the ends of a few tent poles have deteriorated, but those are just aesthetic and do not affect the tent. Comes with all original parts, box, and instructions. Made in Korea sometime in 1980s.

This tent was used by my family in and around Glacier National Park for snow camping. Obviously it is old and a collector’s item at this point. Please read carefully and refer to the photos. The rain fly is sun-faded (photos 13-15), the screen has been repaired near the zipper (photo 17), there are patches on the pole sleeves (photos 19-21), and the bag seam is splitting (last photo). There are no tags to confirm the model but I think it is the K2 Expedition Mountain Dome. Please feel free to ask questions.

The VE-24 is a four-season tent, suitable for use in all climates and conditions. It’s hemispherical shape is extremely efficient in shedding both wind and snow. It has a full coverage flysheet. These older NF Ve tents are brutal beasts. This ten is vintage but in excellent condition. There are absolutely no problems. All the poles, ropes and pegs are in excellent condition. To check out the reviews and specific on this tent go to Trail Space outdoor gear reviews. (type in The North Face VE 24 reviews).

I bought this top-of-the-line tent back in 1999 as a struggling college student working in an outdoor shop on the Appalachian Trail. It is all original and in fantastic shape. Beautiful and converts well to 4-season usage with the full zip up window panels. The only issues are that the seam tape has started to crack with age (as shown in the pictures), and the shock cord in the DAC poles is a bit tired. It will be up to you to seam seal with liquid sealant or peel and retape. It comes with all functional accessories, including the elaborate stuff sack with mud mat, detachable door mat, and 6 original Moss Groundhog stakes (note: the tent sets up best with 10 stakes to properly set the fly). I do not have the original tags or paper manual. Product Description and Specs. Very similar in geometry to the Stargazer only smaller, lighter and lower in profile. Vintage 1981 The North Face TNF VE 23 Geodesic Tent Brown Label. Very Good Condition – no rips, holes, or unusual odors. This tent is classified as a two-man three season tent, but there is nearly enough room for three in it. Features quick and easy erection using three collapsible poles, two screen windows with door screen, and solid flap. Rain fly is included. 3 extra rain fly cords. 85 head to toe. The tent is in really good condition. There are no rips, no holes in the tent, or the screens, and they are all in good condition. All zippers work flawlessly. Both the tent and rain fly have some spotting and discoloration on it, but no mildew. The tent poles have some corrosion on the ends but are otherwise perfect with their elastic cords still strong and tight.
