From the 70′s. Outdoor Venture Corp tent includes all poles (18). Tent was waterproofed at least 25 yrs ago, and was used less than 10 times. Good overall condition and was kept stored indoors. I believe its a 4 person tent. Outdoor Venture Corporation (OVC), founded in Stearns, KY in 1972, OVC was founded as a family recreational camping tent business and grew to become the second largest family/recreational tent supplier in the United States. After more than a decade in business, overseas competition, which was able to produce the tents at a lower cost (due to different labor laws/lower wages) left them unable to compete and OVC recognized the company needed to re-invent itself in order to survive. It is 10′×8′ & sleeps 5 people & has a zip up screen & a zip up solid flap at the door. It also has 2 zip up windows on each end with a green waterproof floor. It comes with 4 flex rods, 1 ridge rod, 2 adjustable tension poles, 16 metal stakes, an army green carry bag, the original instruction sheet(which is readable but is a little tattered around the edges & has a couple of faded areas) & a wax crayon(which is broken in half). I believe this was made in 1977 & it has been stored nicely in a dry place & has no musty smell!! It still had a new vinyl smell when i 1st opened & set it up. It has no tears, rips, holes or stains & all the zippers on the windows & door work great!! This is as close to new as you can get & i really can’t tell if it was ever used or not. Vintage 1960′s (1969) Sears Appleby Tent Trailer 78400. Please review photos for details and condition. There are no tears in the canvas and all zippers are brand new. Just had them replaced myself. There is one rear in the screen and other repairs previously done to the screen. The wood is in good condition however it is due for a fresh paint job as you can see in the pictures. Otherwise this camp trailer is in perfect condition considering its age! Tires are brand new. Trailer comes with that to older tires as spares. Also brand new are the trailer lights. This vintage parawing is in amazing condition, with original setup directions, stakes and poles (in individual bags) and the tarp and main bag. Even the seam seal looks pretty dang good. Vintage Coleman Holiday Canvas Tent. Good overall condition with only minor flaws. Part of bottom zipper doesnt zip correctly. There is a small area where it has been torn, torn/unstitched on bottom door flap. (See photo) Some canvas repair patch or gear tape should fix that easily and zipper pull may just need to be tightened to grab teeth. The holiday label is peeling. Some stains and trail dust are present, but overall, it is a usable tent with no funky smells or major problems. 2 poles are not original and were replaced by newer telescoping aluminum poles 1 pole had nipple replaced with dowel. Comes with original heavy duty stakes and. 2 custom denim bags to hold tent body and tent poles. Priced low to move fast. Trying to sell off a few tents to make room to store materials in garage for upcoming renovation. I have great feedback. Is a local business, so I find their high-quality tents on a regular basis. This is a vintage Chateau-12 cabin tent, with a nylon floor and polyester canvas upper. There are no tears or holes anywhere in the material, and all the zippers work great. Poles are aluminum and in fine shape. I set up the tent and took pictures before I replaced 4 of the bungee cords. 3 were stretched out and one had been replaced poorly with a thinner piece of cord. See photo 11 for a closeup of one of the repairs. I also acquired a new tent bag from Eureka! The tent measures 11.5 x 8.5 x 7H. It comes with tent bag, pole bag, and a stake bag with 6 plastic stakes. Pictures show the tent from all angles. With the new bungee cords, it should set up even better. The item “Vintage Eureka! Moss Starlet tent – 2 Person – Made in Camden USA – Good to Fair Condition Condition is Used. Rare vintage collectible 1 to 2 person tent with amazing mesh roof when used without fly. Includes Tent body, rain fly, 2 sets of Dac poles, 11 stakes, guys, pole repair sleeve, moss sacks. The tent, poles, are in good used condition. Introduced in 1979, The North Star is a 4 season, double wall dome designed with the features and strength needed for expedition and base camp in extreme conditions. It will accommodate 4 adults closely, 6 in an absolute pinch….. In addition to a zippered main entrance, the tent has double snow tunnels backed with bug netting that provide cross ventilation in the warmer months. The North Star is also a very pleasant tent for family camping. Six equal length 183 shock corded Easton aluminum poles and 2 short aluminum awning supports. 3, 10″ aluminum struts help to maintain the “dead air space (separation) between the rainfly and canopy. 1.9 ounce ripstop nylon canopy and full coverage rainfly. Polyurethane coated taffeta nylon floor, lower sidewalls, entrance panel and snow tunnels. 10 additional guy line pullouts on the rainfly for high wind and snow load conditions. Has 6 inside gear pockets. Tunnel design cook/disposal hole built into the floor. Seams on the floor and rainfly were not previously sealed. A blank slate for you to do the job. No old, flaking sealer to clean up. Approximate Weights: Poles 2lbs, 6oz – Main Body 7lbs, 8oz – Rain Fly 3lbs, 12oz. 58.25 sq feet of interior floor space. Condition: I have completed a thorough inspection throughout and assess the tent to be in very good used condition. The colors on the main canopy are bright with very little sun fading. The outer rainfly is a TNF replacement and is in near new condition. The poles are without splits or kinks and are not deformed beyond what is consistent with use and normal shaping to the dome curvature. Zippers run smoothly. A common issue in older tents is the deterioration of the polyurethane waterproof coating applied to the lower sidewalls, floor and rainfly. It is not sticky or peeling and continues to provide full waterproofing. There are no funky, old tent odors. Restoration: The interior floor and the pole sleeves needed some minor repair to bring the tent completely up to snuff: 1 The floor was cleaned and inspected – Several tiny cooking spark holes, scuffs and abrasions were repaired with either dabs of McNett Seam Grip Sealer/Adhesive or the Sealer and nylon taffeta fabric in combination. Usage stains are well set and only minor effort was made at removal. 2 Threading poles through tent sleeves in high winds or darkness isn’t ideal and is best done with 2 persons. Some fabric wear, nicks and several about 1/4″ – 3/4″ in length slits were solidly repaired with Seam Grip, light flat webbing and ripstop repair fabric on the inside and outside of the damage. Arguably strong as new and good to go. As TNF cautions, a small measure of care is needed when threading poles through the sleeves of any tent with light weight fabric. To avoid damage, flex the poles as they are being threaded through the pole sleeves. 3 On the main entrance netting, there were a few tiny pulls. Nothing much was needed but non-the-less they were reinforced with dabs of Seam Grip. Netting is in mint condition at the tunnel entrances. 4 I have freshly sealed the center , floor cross seam. Final 4 photo’s show typical wear and the repairs. Last picture is the interior floor. The tent is entirely ready for use.
