Vrijbuiter Arend (Eagle) Dutch Canvas Tent with Inner Tent. This tent is in fantastic clean condition, we could only find one small piece of bird poo on it. There are no signs of fading. All the lines are in excellent condition and the zipped in groundsheet is perfect. Size – 3 metres wide by 3.6 metres deep. 2.4 metres high at the mast and 1.9 at the entrance. The tent benefits from having its original inner tent plus a side sail which can be fixed either side of the entrance to keep drafts out. The following items are included. All pegs and lines required. There are windows either side of the entrance with mosquito nets above. There is also a built-in canopy above the entrance 110 cm deep. With the side sail this provides a pleasant sheltered space for sitting outside. This is a really solid medium sized Dutch tent. It would be ideal for a couple with one or two children. We cannot find any marks at all on this tent and there are no signs of fading. All the lines are in excellent condition too. The sewn in groundsheet is perfect. Size – 4.2 metres wide by 4.4 metres deep. 2.5 metres high at the mast and 1.9 at the entrance. The tent benefits from having the optional full-length mosquito door. This can be secured on hot nights in place of the normal left side canvas door, providing improved ventilation. There are also 4 ventilation panels at the rear of the tent, with zipped covers. Uncleaned as found with no smells, sticky material, rips, holes or tears in near mint condition. No stakes or carry bag were found or included. Collectible tent which was stored loose in a large canvas bag over the years keeping it preserved. Still feels, looks and smells like new. The seams have been sealed years ago by someone but never used. A few of the taped seams will need to be redone if desired. A couple small ones inside the tent taped for the side straps. Easton 7075 T9 aluminum poles are near mint along with the expedition shock cording. Zippers and buckles all work great. The bottom of the tent still looks like new. Very rare to find the Mountain-24 in this condition with the foam baffles still in new-like condition. Weighs 8 lbs and the the tent measures 8′ x 5′ x 3′ H. With the rainfly vestibule being used it extends the tent to about 10′. This tent has a low wind and snow shedding shape that shrugs off the worst weather. In fact it has been pitched on Mt. Everest, K2, the North Pole, the South Pole and of course in some backyards.
