A compact two-person, three-season tent, the Black Diamond Distance Tent is an ultralight, single-wall shelter built for weight conscious backpackers, thru-hikers and mountain adventurers. The structure is created using two Distance Carbon FLZ-AR Trekking Poles (Accessory Ready) trekking Z-Poles and a small DAC cross pole that inserts into the accessory ready grip and connects the trekking poles. Four stake-out points anchor the tent to create the ultimate fast pitch shelter-simple to set up and robust in windy conditions. For cross ventilation, there are vents at both the peak and foot area. Lightweight 30d polyester construction allows the tent to pack down to the size of a Nalgene bottle. There is a headlamp pocket located in the peak for easy illumination.

Black Diamond Beta Light 2 person tent. I got this and have only taken it on one solo 4 day trip. I realized I prefer a double wall tent though this tent is pretty amazing! This takes two trekking poles to set up (not included). I offset my poles to give me more space for my sleeping bag as seen in the second photo. It is in excellent condition. Perfect for 4 season camping. Includes 6 stakes and 4 extra guy lines. I don’t have a ground sheet for it. This tent and everything (stakes, guy lines and bags) in the bag weighs less than 28 oz. As an ultralight shelter for long thru-hikes or climbing objectives that require a trek in, the Beta Light is the perfect, packable two-person shelter. Shelter set-up, using 2 adjustable trekking poles, is quick and easy with the adjustable stake-out points. The Black Diamond Mega Light is a workingman’s ultralight tarp shelter. As guides, some of us have logged hundreds of nights in one of these simple tents, waiting out storms and keeping loads gear dry for the next day.
