Like new Trango 2 tent. Bought new in March 2019. One repair: about 2 of bug netting separated from the zipper seam when it got caught in the zipper. I repaired this by hand sewing. Please see the last two pictures. It is barely noticeable and works perfectly. Otherwise the tent is like new. Only pitched twice on snow, once on a tile floor, never on rock. This Tent is in like new condition. I used it one time for one night to get a feel for how to set it up. There may be some dirt on it from that one time but other than that it is basically new. Is the master of both high and low country, equally suited for a high altitude expedition or a weekend walk in the local hills. These robust all-season, all-arounders pitch quickly and easily, can be taken down and moved in a flash, yet are far stronger and lighter than any other tent in their class. Because of their superb strength to weight ratio and compact footprints, both the Nammatj 2 has become immensely popular with extreme users, such as polar travelers looking to save weight, mountaineers doing remote routes in the highest ranges, professional guides, and military special forces teams. But these same characteristics are just as highly prized by more regular users, as well: backpackers, cycle and paddle tourers, and anyone needing maximum strength while reducing weight. Kerlon 1800 outer tent fabric and 10 mm poles make for an exceptionally strong and stable tent. All season construction: outer tent walls extend to the ground and mesh areas are backed with adjustable fabric panels. Tunnel construction offers maximum space to weight ratio and is the ideal choice for mobile journeys. Plenty of room for two occupants and their gear. Linked but separable inner and outer tent for simultaneous pitching. Tunnel design requires only four pegs for pitching, and the simple, single opening continuous sleeve and pole tensioner system is quick to pitch and remarkably stable. A single entrance and vestibule afford easy access and plenty of storage space, but keep the weight very low. An optional footprint covers the entire area of the outer tent, including the vestibules. North Face Himalayan 47 expedition dome tent and footprint 4 season 4 person

Based on the previous Himalayan Hotel, the Himalayan 47 Tent was made for the most remote expeditions. It is the base camp tent of choice among mountaineers – a serious high altitude tent for expedition use and extreme winter conditions. As a geodesic dome, its strength and design is unrivaled. For a 4 person tent this is unquestionably the strongest and roomiest in its class. I bought the tent new from a local retailer and set it up one time at home on a sunny day. I can’t seem to wear out my older TNF North Star expedition tent… So the Himalayan 47 has never been used in the field, stream or mountain. It”s time to pass it on to someone else who is going to use and abuse it. It has been stored in smoke free downstairs heat controlled “toy room” over the years. It has no rips, tears or wear, has never been wet, has no mold, is not sticky, tacky, or flaky and actually smells new!
