Bibler Black Diamond Eldorado Single Wall Mountaineering Tent With Footprint
I bought this ten 4-5 years ago. It is a bibler, but i understand the company is now owned by black diamond. I wound up not using it because i either tended to use a small solo tent or, if in a group, a larger tent. So other than setting it up once outside to apply the seam sealer, it is in new unused condition. Very easy to set up, just two internal poles, and well vented. Comes with the matching bibler footprint, stuff sacks, and stakes. You canât send the item back just because youâve changed your mind.
But i try to describe each item i sell very carefully. If there is a fault or something wrong, i will mention it in the description.

Marmot Taku Single Wall Gore-tex 2 Person Mountaineering Tent. 4 Season.
Marmot taku, this is one of the last taku’s made by marmot mountain works. Retail was $800.00 as i remember. This tent has been set up two times once to seam seal the top gore-tex seams, once to camp in.
It has been exposed to uv for a total of 4 days. The tent is in perfect shape. The tent with poles in the tent sack weighs 5.4 lbs on my ups scale. The floor is a true bathtub floor with all stitching factory seam sealed. It was set up with an under cloth.
The poles are heat treated pre bent aluminum. That is why the poles are curved in the photos. Pre bent poles are stronger than straight tent poles. This tent is very sturdy and will handle very high winds. If the tent is set up with the small end (foot) facing into the wind, the tent has incredible ventilation.
The tent body acts as a venturi sucking air out of the doors and pulls air in by the foot vent. Even in the rain this tent will provide great ventilation with the foot vent wide open and the doors open at the top only. No water will enter this tent when vented as shown in the pictures. The tent body fabric is polyester gore-tex and breathes. No condensation on the walls of the tent. The tent floor is water proof nylon factory tape seam sealed. The original repair kit is included. Some repair fabric is pre sticky style, just peal and stick.
The tent dimensions are 38.5″ wide at the foot, 110″ inches long, 56 wide at the widest point by the main pole and doors. The tent comes with a tent bag that doubles as a large two pocket overhead storage container in the tent. Tent bag contains a separate tent stake zippered compartment.
The best tent stakes i have used are produced by patagonia. Two at the head and three at the foot. More if you expect side winds. Pole sack is included for poles and it was included in the weight of the tent, tent holder. This is the lightest, strongest, and best two person tent i have ever owned.
