MOUNTAIN HARDWEAR Twin Arch 2 Backpacking Camping Tent W/ Rainfly Vestibule. Uncleaned as found in excellent overall used condition with no foul smells, sticky material, rips, holes or tears. Very clean in general and doesn’t look as if it was ever used and in great shape. 7 aluminum stakes also included. Different stakes were used to preserve the integrity of the original stakes. The tent measures about 7′ in length and 3.5′ – 4′ wide and 44 in height. Everything shown weighs 5 lbs 4 oz. The photos were taken by myself and represent the ACTUAL item(s) for sale. Used but in excellent condition. A really great ultralight and enclosed backpacking shelter for two folks or a palace for one. Recently replaced the guy line with 1.2mm z line from Zpacks. Will include the polycryo. Carbon fiber pole, stakes and sleeping pads are not included. Zpacks no longer makes this model. 14oz on my scale. For sale is a d. Iscontinued Zpacks Hexamid Twin two person tent. This falls in the category of stupid light at 17oz. For a fully enclosed tent with bug netting and bathtub floor. It can get down to 13oz if you remove the cuben bathtub floor. Comes with a set of hexamid twin specific carbon fiber poles. It has been used lots but well taken care of. It has a few repairs, including some tenacious tape reinforcement in two spots on the netting. These repairs have held for almost the whole life of the tent and are not getting bigger or expanding. I recently reinforced some high wear areas of the tent with zpacks dyneema tape, including the guyline points and the crown of the tent where the pole goes. Neither places were ripped but looking a bit saggy. Plenty of life left in the tent, we just wanted to move to something with two doors. The Emperor 6m Diameter Bell Tent has two poles creating a massive tent of 3m high by 6m wide and 4m deep. As with all the tents in our Ultimate range, the Emperor 6m Diameter Bell Tent comes with a heavy duty groundsheet (PVC 480gsm). This still feels soft to the touch whilst being very strong and durable and the added zip that goes all the way round the top of the groundsheet. The groundsheet rises 4 inches from the ground ensuring no water will leak into the tent, but still allows the option of rolling up the walls on a sunny afternoon. Heavy duty 100% breathable cotton canvas (300 g/m²). Heavy duty PVC ground sheet attached to the tent with a zipper. Groundsheet PVC weighs 540 g/m². A-frame covered Entrance (150cm/59 high) this creates a porch to stop the rain from coming in. Zipped front door for fast access. The corners of the doors have a flap for cable access. Canvas is treated to be water and mould resistant using biodegradable products. 6 windows complete with integrated mosquito nets. Takes 1-2 people only 15 minutes to set up the tent. If a Bell Tent has not been set up correctly uneven forces will pull on the canvas. This could eventually lead to damage. To ensure your tent stays set up correctly daily guy rope maintenance is necessary. It is in your interest to keep the canvas as clean as possible and remove stains when created. Dust and dried mud is best removed once the canvas is dry by brushing with a clean hard brush like a floor scrubbing brush. The lifespan of your tent is very dependent upon camping conditions such as air pollution, ultraviolet radiation, natural dirt (bird droppings, sand, salt water) and domestic dirt (cooking stains, soda, wine, sun cream). Fungus and stains Due to insufficient ventilation, fungus can affect the canvas. It is important to store your tent dry so no fungus or other stains can appear. Only use specialized tent cleaning products to remove difficult stains as other chemical products can cause the cotton to leak. We suggest you have your tent re-impregnated with waterproofer if any area has been cleaned using a cleaning product. Leaking Cotton can, when new, let some air through and leak around the seams. After the canvas has been wet once this will no longer happen because of the cotton expanding. Very light stains can appear on a wet tent – these stains cause no problems. In order to preserve your tents water resistance and prolong its lifespan after a considerable amount of use, the outside of the canvas can be re-treated with a sealant. There are many good spray can sealants on the market, and we also sell re-proofer. Zippers :Zippers sometimes have to endure extreme tension caused by wind, incorrect tent set up or pressure caused by people or objects leaning into the tent.
